Cygnus is a Baltimore, MD based instrumental progressive metal trio made up of guitarist Eric Bostic, drummer Tyler Bristow, and an android named T0N3-E (Tony). Drawing inspiration from the cosmos, both real and imagined, they combine human creativity with robotic perfectionism, crafting cinematic, mind-bending soundscapes filled with atmospheric depth influenced by the likes of Dream Theater, Children of Bodom, and Gojira. Together, they represent the future of progressive music— dynamic, technical, and chaotic.
Mission
Cygnus above all, aims to write and perform music that they love, and use that music to build a community of people who find impact and meaning through their performances. Being an instrumental project, our audience is free to hear in our music what they need to hear, an idea we value immensely.
